PROFIL

Predstojnik Zavoda za farmaceutsku tehnologiju i redoviti profesor na kolegijima Farmaceutika (dodiplomska nastava), te Biofarmacija s farmakokinetikom i Terapijski sustavi (poslijediplomska nastava). Bio je mentorom preko 60 diplomskih radova, 14 magistarskih radova te 7 doktorskih disertacija.

Područje znanstvenog istraživanja su mu mikrokapsule, mikrosfere, terapijski sustavi kontroliranog oslobađanja, polimerni sustavi, prolijekovi i liposomi. Objavio je preko 70 znanstvenih radova, sudjelovao na oko 60 kongresa i simpozija, bio voditeljem 3 međunarodna, 6 domaćih i 6 industrijskih projekata (broj CC citata više od 400).

Dobitnik je nagrade Ruđer Bošković za znanstvena postignuća (1994.), medalje za znanost - Red Danice Hrvatske (1998.), te Državne nagrade za znanost (2003.).
