Sudjeluje u praktičnoj nastavi na predmetima Biokemija prehrane s dijetoterapijom i Biokemija prehrane. U okviru izrade svoje doktorske disertacije bavi se istraživanjem unosa prehrambenih vlakana u dijetetskim proizvodima na bazi cerealija.

Rođena je 23. 03. 1977. godine u Rijeci. Osnovno i srednjoškolsko obrazovanje (prirodoslovno-matematička gimnazija) završila je 1995. godine, kad je upisala Farmaceutsko-biokemijski fakultet. Diplomirala je 2001. godine, a pripravnički staž provela na Klinici za dijabetes, endokrinologiju i bolesti metabolizma „Vuk Vrhovac“, te položila državni ispit. Tijekom 2003. godine radila je u tvrtci „Kemolab“ gdje je stekla iskustvo u prodaji i prezentaciji medicinske opreme. Od 01. listopada 2003. zaposlena je na Zavodu za kemiju prehrane Farmaceutsko-biokemijskog fakulteta kao asistent kada je i upisala poslijediplomski studij „Medicinska biokemija“. Član je Hrvatskog društva medicinskih biokemičara, kao i Hrvatske komore medicinskih biokemičara.

Od 2003. sudjeluje kao aktivni istraživač na projektu Zavoda za kemiju prehrane Farmaceutsko-biokemijskog fakulteta „Konditorski proizvodi na bazi cerealija: nutritivna i tehnološka istraživanja“ kojeg financira MZOŠ RH. S problematikom vezanom uz znanstveno-istraživački rad na projektu sudjelovala je na više znanstvenih kongresa.

Lovorka Vujić was born on 23 March 1977 in Rijeka. She finished her elementary and secondary education (a science and mathematics related high school) in 1995 and enrolled at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry. She graduated in 2001 and effected her internship at the Clinic for Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism Diseases „Vuk Vrhovac“ and passed the state exam. In the course of 2003 she worked at the firm „Kemolab“ where she acquired experience in sales and presentation of medical equipment. Since 1 October 2003 she has been working at the Department of Food Chemistry , Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry as assistent starting her post-graduate study „Medical Biochemistry“. She is a member of Croatian Society of Medical Biochemists and Croatian Chamber of Medical Biochemists.

Since 2003 parcipitate like investigator on project ”Cereal-based confectionery products: nutritional and technological investigations”. She participated in several scientific conferences.
