Profile

Toma Keser, PhD, is working as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry, University of Zagreb. He teaches practical parts of graduate courses in Biological chemistry, Molecular biology with genetic engineering and Analytical Biochemistry, as well as postgraduate course Glycobiology. His main research interest is in glycobiology, especially glycosylation of immunoglobulin G.

 

Education:

  • 2016      Elected to Research Fellow in the area of Biomedicine and Health, the field of Pharmacy
  • 2016      Defended his PhD thesis entitled „Influence of genetic and environmental factors on N-glycosylation of immunoglobulin G and total plasma proteins determined by twin study“ and acquired a PhD degree in the area of Biomedicine and Health, the field of Pharmacy, the branch of Pharmacy, supervisor: prof.dr.sc.
