Department of Food Chemistry organizes several courses at the graduate level (Study of Pharmacy and Study of Medicinal biochemistry): "Physiological and biochemical aspects of nutrition", "Nutritional biochemistry", "Nutrition therapy" and "Health Ecology". It also participates in number of courses at Postgraduate Doctoral Study “Pharmaceutical-Biochemical Sciences” and Postgraduate Specialist Studies: "Phytopharmacy with Nutrition Therapy" and "Dermatopharmacy and Cosmetology". Department’s scientific activities are primarily focused on investigation of bioavalability of different classes of nutraceuticals and development of advanced oral formulations. Department’s offices, laboratory for staff, and laboratory for students are situated on the 1st floor of the Faculty building in Domagojeva 2.
