Personal and social life

There are dozen of students all over the Europe, even wider that come to do practice or study on Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry, University of Zagreb. CPSA (Croatian Pharmacy and Medical Biochemistry Students' Association) and it's very active members, students of  Faculty, are very friendly and open to every foreign student that comes across. They're organizing gatherings, events like Karaoke nights, International evenings, city tours - in order to enable a better stay, exploring the city, making them feel more than welcome. CPSA was proclaimed as the best Pharmaceutical Student Association in 2016!

Students are also very active in their (future) profession - they're working on various public health programmes by going out and talk with citizens, warn and active them to leed better, more quality life and giving them infromations about using antibiotics, smoking, some medical conditions as Diabetes or Immunodeficiency etc. For the first time in October 2014, CPSA organized its first Congress that went better then expected so it became a yearly tradition! We're looking forward to the next one!

We are organizers of various humanitarian activities where we gather food, hygienic products, toys, clothes and other and we've been giving to the ones that need it the most. Biggest humanitarian event is Humanitarian Pancake Day. It occurs two times a year, in December and May. Every year many students come here to enjoy some desserts (sometimes there is over 20 types) and in same time help the needy ones. Even proffesors and other staff gladly come during their breakes!

We even donate blood, some of us two times a year.

Student council is mostly directed on students on Faculty and their eventual problems, but they're also organizing some interesting projects and very good parties. Most visited is Brucošijada, party intended for students of first year. There is sometimes not enough time to study, but there has to be time for partying!
