The Department provides teaching (lectures, seminars and laboratory exercises) of graduate-level courses: Pharmaceutical botany and Cell biology with genetics. Scientific research is focused on floristic, biochemical, molecular-genetic and chemotaxonomical investigations of indigenous species of Croatian flora and toxicological investigations of naturally occurring toxins. Offices of the Department are located in Schrottova 39 (ground floor). The Department has a lecture room-student laboratory (Schrottova 39 – ground floor) and a research laboratory (Schrottova 39 – basement).
